Workshop Description – Generational Workforce & Communication
Today’s workforce spans multiple generations, each bringing unique experiences, values, and communication styles. This interactive session explores how generational differences shape workplace expectations, relationships, and leadership approaches. Participants will gain practical tools to improve communication across age groups, reduce misunderstandings, and foster a more inclusive and collaborative culture. Through discussion and real-world scenarios, leaders will learn how to leverage generational strengths, adapt communication strategies, and build stronger, more effective teams within diverse organizational environments.
Presenter Bio – Susan Williams, The Village Family Service Center
Susan Williams is a leader at The Village Family Service Center with extensive experience in workforce development, organizational leadership, and community-based services. She brings a practical, relationship-centered approach to leadership training, helping organizations strengthen team dynamics and communication across diverse populations. Susan is passionate about building inclusive workplaces where individuals feel valued and empowered to contribute. Through her work, she has supported leaders in navigating change, fostering collaboration, and developing strategies that enhance both staff engagement and organizational impact.
